Headliner Sammy Anzer featuring Donelle Prado with Special Guests Billie Jo Gillispie, Michele Swager, Emily Kingsly and Host Catherine Shae Sammy Anzer Sammy Anzer is an ethnically ambiguous comedian from the most ethnically diverse streets in the world, Queens, New York. Sammy’s comedic career began at JHS 157, where he successfully sabotaged eighty periods of Earth Science and most of his sister’s birthdays. Sammy now lives in the only slightly less diverse state of Colorado, where’s he’s a cultural ambassador who gets people laughing at jokes in Russian and appreciating a Chinese man reaching across racial divides to curse at him in Spanish. When Sammy appeared on Kevin Hart’s LOL network “You Look Like” roast battle, he lost every single one of his matches and gained notoriety for looking like “church camp Drake” and “the most handsome employee at the Taco Bell.” Sammy is also known for his appearances in the web series Comedians Doing Stuff in Denver, the 103.1 comedy radio station, the High Plains Comedy Festival, the Comedy Works New Faces Finals, and jail (twice). When he’s not pretending to write his own bio, he’s thinking about you and grateful that you took time to read about him, and he would very much like to do comedy with or for you. Donelle Prado Donelle Prado a Denver based stand-up comedian who can be seen performing regularly at the Comedy Works and Denver Improv. She was featured on the “Hot Tamales Live” comedy DVD with Eva Longoria available nationwide and featured twice on the nationally syndicated television network “SiTV”. She was also a finalist on Nick-at-Nite’s 2007 “Funniest Mom in America”. Donelle tours nationally and has performed in Hollywood’s top comedy clubs including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Improv, The Ice House. This past fall, she toured with “Crazy Woke Asians”, a stand-up comedy troupe dedicated to bringing awareness to social justice issues through humor, where she headlined their Seattle, Washington shows. In addition to stand-up, Donelle is also highly sought after as a Corporate and College Entertainer, having performed for countless organizations including Coca-Cola, The US Postal Service, and the Colorado School of Mines. Donelle enjoys giving back to the community by performing for underserved populations including the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Colorado Women’s Correctional Facility. Committed to transforming stereotypes through her comedy, Donelle’s unique background and perspective enable her to represent not only Asian-American and Latina women, but ALL Women in an empowering, positive, and celebrated light. Billie Jo Gillispie Based in Boulder, CO, Billie Jo Gillispie is an out and proud Marine veteran who has been bringing high energy and a unique perspective to the stage for 10 years. Her hilarity has kept the crowds laughing at the adventures of farm life, the challenges of military service, and veteran life as a woman. Her festival appearances include Jokechella (1, 2, & 3), The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival 2020, was in the top 101 of the 2020 World Series of Comedy, as well as performing at the NYC Underground Comedy Festival. She's opened for comedic all-stars such as Shane Torres, Myq Kaplan, Ben Roy, and Adam Cayton Holland. Michele Swager Michelle Swager’s brand of dry witty humor tends to tilt towards current events and the human experience. She lives in Denver and can be seen performing across the front range. Emily Maligie Kingsley Emily is a talented loud mouth sass ball who brings her nerdy band geek charm to warm any crowd. When she isn't making the funnies, she is in the thick of raising her two daughters. Her patriarchal busting humor and her flugelhorn keeps her sane during the non-monotonous monotony of motherhood. Catherine Shea Catherine launched her comedy career at Abbott & Wallace and performs up and down the Colorado Front Range. Catherine tells it like it is for women over 50 and the people who love them!
