Join Lost Barrel Brewing for live music, drinks, food and fun! About this event: Lost Barrel Brewing is an all ages brewery located in Middleburg, VA on a horse farm. We welcome you to enjoy our taproom, porch, stunning yard or private gathering spaces. The music will be indoors when cold and outdoors on our porch weather permitting. We serve beer, wine, hard seltzer and food. We can't wait to have you! About Gary Jay & FIREBALL: Gary Jay & FIREBALL is a country*grassroots TWO-MAN-BAND. Gary provides vocals / percussion / guitar & Vince FIREBALL adds some harmonica flames. They perform a variety of artists covers and original CountryGrass music stories. Every show includes songs you will recognize and sing-along with like Johnny Cash's 'Ring of Fire' or Merle Haggards 'Mama Tried'. Every show will have some honky-tonk dance music from Ernest Tubb, Hank Sr, Marshall Tucker Band, or the Allman Brothers. Every show will contain something you probably never heard for the musically adventurous. They don't play 3 hours of the same thing you heard last week! You definitely won't be bored, some fun for everyone! Gary has been playing music for over 45 years and has opened for David Allen Coe, Craig Campbell & recently Gary Jay & FIREBALL opened for Whey Jennings at DOMINION RACEWAY. Gary has two(2) albums out and the recent album 'Back to the Farm' has been heard around the globe on approx 4000 radio stations with potential 5 million listeners promoted by Muscle Shoals music legend Stephen Foster (Stephen Indie Picks). Gary writes songs primarily from life experience. You will hear those story songs mixed into the show at various times. Gary & Vince met at an OPEN MIC over 4 years ago. For some reason, they clicked! They have a unique music sound together putting a unique spin on country / bluegrass / folk / country-rock. If you have seen the Netflix documentary on another unique blues-duo called 'Satan & Adam', it's been said that Gary Jay & FIREBALL are the country-grassroots version of 'Satan & Adam'. Gary invented a special 'percussion device' for his wrist & Vince (when not playing lead) provides a rhythm similar to Willie Nelson's harmonica player Mickey Raphael. These sounds combine to make a very full sound of a TWO-MAN-BAND and NO LOOPERS are needed, just real-time authentic music. Vince will also add some 'concertina' on some songs (aka mini-squeeze box smaller than an accordian). Come find out what all the fuss is about, dressed to kill with music to thrill!
