ASUBA have collaborated with Generation Vaxxed to host a Silent Disco Party in honor of Black History Month. About ASUBA The Albany State University Black Alliance has always been known for its political activism and educational commitment as well as its community service. Therefore their motto is “In Unity, There is Strength”. ASUBA's goal is: To stand as the unifying force amongst all students of African descent. ASUBA and all its members realize that “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor but is taken by the oppressed…by any means necessary” In honor of Black History Month, ASUBA will cohost their Silent Disco Nite to celebrate Black culture on campus. About Generation Vaxxed In response to the low COVID-19 vaccination rates in young people ages 18 to 34, Young Invincibles launched their Generation Vaxxed campaign to address young people's concerns. As young adult vaccination rates remain lower than other ages, we've ramped up our focus on meeting young people where they are to have one-on-one conversations about COVID-19 & the vaccines. The party kicks off on Feb. 19 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom with featured guest DJs. Spots are limited so reserve yours today!
