Join NYC Parks Arts, Culture, and Fun in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America for a celebration of Black History Month with Phil Young. A much-loved figure in the uptown community, Phil Young has played with legendary figures like Bobby "Blue" Bland, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson, Art Farmer, and Dizzy Gillespie. This event features his "Experience" band, who can always be counted on for swing and excitement. • Covid vaccination required, for those who are eligible, to enter recreation center to participate in activities. • Please wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. • All individuals should maintain social distancing of six feet during programming, regardless of vaccination status. • Wash your hands before attending a program. • Stay home if you are sick.
