I am looking for a live-in caretaker for my 80 year old father. He has Parkinson's disease but is capable of doing most things on his own. He will need assistance with cleaning, cooking, and washing his clothes. He has therapists that comes in during the week for physical, occupational and speech and also has a CNA that comes twice a week for showers. I am moving back to CA and he cannot live alone. The work that needs to be done for my father is very minimal. He only eats twice a day because he gets up around noon. Laundry (clothes and bedding) once a week. Light cleaning, (kitchen - daily) and minimal weekly cleaning of the bathroom, his room and common areas. You will have your own room and bathroom, parking spot in the garage, free wifi & cable and access to a pool and gated community. No pets, children, drugs, smoking of any kind, parties, company, criminal activity or disrespect will be tolerated. A couple is acceptable as long as both agree to the living conditions stated above. This is free rent, free utilities, free wifi & cable in exchange for you basically assisting my father with minimal duties.
