Join us at our International Women's Gathering event as women of the world come together and share their journey. The International Women’s Gathering is an annual event which brings women together in celebration of International Women’s Day. Under the International Women’s Day 2022 theme “Break the Bias,” a dynamic panel of diverse speakers will share their journeys of their rise to success. The event is hosted by the International Marketplace Coalition, at the Global Village Welcome Center, which exists as a place where people can explore, connect and celebrate their cultures and traditions. Showcasing the numerous cultures represented in Indy, women will have an opportunity to have a taste of international cuisine from mostly women-owned restaurants and will have the opportunity to support women-owned businesses at the various vendor booths. In addition to the panel discussion, a special fundraising drive will be held for 3 nominated charities, which serve women and girls. The charities will each have an opportunity to present their programs, and the winner will be voted for at the event. The Women’s Gathering aims to attract women from all walks of life for an afternoon of inspiration, entertainment and connecting/networking. The event will take place on March 19th, 2022, starting at 12:00 PM at the Global Village Welcome Center located at 4233 Lafayette Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46254. Dress: Cultural Attire or business casual. It is the mission of The International Marketplace Coalition to promote the revitalization of the Lafayette Square area by creating an environment conducive to attract and retain sustainable economic development for the benefit of this community, the city of Indianapolis and the region. The International Marketplace is a place where immigrants from cultures across the world have come together to create an environment unique to Indianapolis and even within a broader Midwestern region. By coming together, we are transforming the International Marketplace into a destination known for its ethnic retail and dining experiences.
