Join us for a conversation led by Dr. Laura Chan on how to harness the changing energy of your life cycles. Cycles in nature are everywhere: day, night, tides, moon phases, seasons, birth, and death. In women, these cycles also ebb and flow within us as our menstrual cycles. And throughout the phases of the menstrual cycle the energy also ebbs and flows. Did you know that certain times of the menstrual cycle are more conducive to introspection and rest and other times productivity or creativity? And what happens when you are pregnant or post-menopausal? Is it possible to live your life with more awareness and consideration and an honoring of your inner cycles? About Dr. Laura Chan: Dr. Laura Chan is a licensed Naturopath Doctor and Acupuncturist with a private practice within NH Health & Wellness Center in Nashua NH. During her years in practice, Dr. Chan has pursued extensive continuing education in a variety of modalities including functional medicine, magnetic therapy and the treatment of chronic conditions. She also a certified Yi Ren Qi Gong instructor. This training has deepened her understanding of how energetic imbalance contributes to illness, and she enjoys sharing these skills with her patients when applicable. Dr. Chan has a true passion for women’s health and this particular topic. The meeting begins with registration at 7:15, with the workshop occurring around 7:30 - 9:30. Plenty of on-site parking. Our meeting is held at the Spinal Corrective Center, just off 101A on the Milford/ Amherst line (next to the Shoe Box and Montessori school), and are free and open to the public, so that soon-to-be members can give us a test-drive to see if you've finally found your "tribe" within our Holistic Moms Network Hillsborough County, NH Chapter. Call or email with questions, hope to see everyone there! Our chapter is a diverse group of holistic moms and we welcome all area moms (and dads) with an interest in holistic health and green living. Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests. Come join us for a meeting, get connected to other like-minded moms and dads, and enjoy the support of our community! Our monthly meetings are free and open to the public. They are typically held the third Thursdays of each month. Special event meetings are also held throughout the year. Babes in arms always welcome.
