A morning of solar celeberation and ceremony immersed in the beauty of nature.
Please note: Tickets are free but required as spots are limited. Thank you!
Friends, flora, and fauna of the earth! Rub the wintering sleep from your eyes and come greet the Dawn of the Year as we celebrate the spring equinox solar shift from the dark months into light. With nature based offerings for the whole family, we hope you will join us in jubilance as we look forward to the green re-awakening of the earth and warmer days ahead. This event takes place in the woods, so be sure to dress for the outdoors. Please feel free to join us at any point during the festivities.
Schedule:
8 am Early Light Woods Walk & Quiet Contemplation
9 am Pancake Breakfast Potluck + Kids Activities
10:30 am (ish) Spring Equinox Ceremony - All Ages
What to bring:
- Camp chair
- An item or figure to lend to the community altar for the event that symbolizes this time for you
- A brunch dish for the potluck if you feel so called
All WEWSC events are assumed to be interspiritual spaces. Common ground is sacred ground, and we invite all who walk the Earth to join in celebrating Her cycles with joy and respect for others.
A Note on Parking: Parking is somewhat limited. In the interest of ensuring that those with mobility differences can park up front, we encourage groups of family and friend to ride in together rather than taking separate cars. We are also actively looking for volunteers willing to park nearby and carpool in with other attendees. This will allow us to accomodate more folks and add more tickets. E-mail us at [email protected] if you are able to help out in this way! Thanks so much!
Until next we meet, bright blessings to you and yours!
