A unique micro concert concept featuring Oskar Owens in February. Listen in on a live album recording session. No-host bar. Emerge is thrilled to be hosting the next session of our unique listener experience all while supporting local singer/song writers. The Cicada Sessions will be open to ticket holders. Guests will be able to listen to a live album recording session of original music from some of our community's most talented musicians. Participating musicians receive a professional live recorded album and interview. We are very excited to host Oskar Owens as our February Cicada Session artist. To be a part of the experience, Join us on February 19th at 7pm. Emerge is a collective art experience engaging all members of the community in a variety of high quality creative outlets, while offering a platform for emerging artists to cultivate their careers as professionals. Emerge collaborates with new and emerging regional and local artists to gain participation in teaching and sharing arts skills, as well as  building up community events that engage individuals in supporting the arts. Emerge participates in local Art Walk events with rotating monthly shows featuring artists participating in Emerge. (The second Friday of every month 5-8pm) Emerge will work as a co-op in the sense that all artists providing classes, workshops, demos, etc. and/or renting studio space will be eligible to submit work for rotating shows in the gallery. Emerge will be the community resource for those individuals seeking to learn art skills and for artists seeking to share, create and show work.
