Swing into Spring with these macrame plant holders! Ever wanted to try your hand at macrame, but afraid to get all knotted up? Then, this class is for you. You will learn all of the basic knots and more! We will be making two different styles of plant hangers, including a fun dip-dyed one (YAY COLOR!!). You will also leave with detailed drawings of each knot so you can practice your new skill at home. Macrame is such a zen, relaxing craft and we can’t wait to share it with you! Jennie is an artist and DIYer with work featured on HGTV and Food Network as well as a content-creator and crafter for the HGTV Handmade YouTube channel. Jennie can often be found with a drill in her hand tackling DIY renovations in her 1940’s bungalow or making a giant mess in her art studio. She describes her style as a little quirky and a whole lot colorful, and firmly believes in the power of glitter. The Inventor Center is the new makerspace opening in Kingsport March of 2019.
