Art Journaling: Saturday Mornings

$55 per 2 hour session. The Art of the Journal w/ local Artist Kim Beller On Saturday mornings in February, we will gather to discover new ways to play creatively during the "art of the journal” class with artist Kim Beller. From mixed media and collage techniques to making our own papers and stamps, something new will be shared during each class. You can attend one or all of the classes, as each one will be designed to spark your curiosity and inspire you as you play in the art journal. Please feel free to bring your own journal (one with sturdy paper that can handle all different mediums), or you can purchase a one (handmade by Kim) on the day of class for a minimal fee ($18). All other supplies and materials are included, but please feel free to bring your favorite supplies if you would like to. Optional to bring collage elements, ephemera, stencils, stamps, photos, or copies of photos. This week we are doing photo transfers, so please feel free to bing any images or photos you may life to use as we learn this fun technique! Each week you’ll discover new ways to add to the journal using various supplies and mediums. We will make our own collage papers ,hand carved stamps, and much more to make the journal unique to you. You can jump in at any time and experience the magic of art journaling. You don’t have to come to each class.
