From the San Mateo County Transportation Authority: November 8 2019 Transportation Authority Welcomes New Director The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) Board of Directors welcomed new member Julia Mates at its November meeting. Mates, who also serves as Belmont City Council Member, will represent the Central Judicial Cities on the TA Board. The TA Board is the governing body of the TA, which administers funding for transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the County. The seven-member board is composed of one member from the Northern, Central and Southern Judicial Cities, two members of the Board of Supervisors, one member from the SamTrans Board, and one member from Cities-at-Large.
