Press release from Orange County Public Schools: 02/10/2022 February is "Love the Bus Month." The American School Bus Council's National "Love the Bus" campaign launched the month-long celebration to highlight the important role of the yellow school bus in education, and to show appreciation for the school bus drivers who safely transport more than 25 million children to and from school every day. In Orange County, our drivers transport 55,000 students to and from school daily. To say thank you for all they do, especially during these unprecedented times, Transportation Services will host a socially distanced event at each of the six compounds to recognize the transportation services employees that are going above and beyond to safely transport students each day. This includes Fleet Services, Operations, Routing, Business Services, Safety/Training, and IT. We know they'd love to hear from their students.
