Time to put those practiced Scout Skills to use! Bring your love for the outdoors to Graham Creek Nature Preserve for a much requested Camporee! This year's competition is open to all Scouts BSA, Venture Scouts, and Sea Scouts. WEBELOS and AOL Scouts are also allowed to participate for fun and advancement. There are two divisions. Top Scout (for 1st Class to Eagle Ranks) and Top Scout Junior (for Scout to Second Class Ranks). Top Scout Junior will compete in the same stations just only against scouts within the same range of competence level. For all challenge events during the Camporee, a “BUDDY TEAM” is defined as 2 Scouts (you may have 3 if you have an odd number of scouts). It will be the responsibility of the SPL to provide the Camp Director the name of each BUDDY TEAM and its members that will be participating in the challenge stations. The Mobile Area Council, Boy Scouts of America provides service to over 3,000 youth in the Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile and Washington Counties of Southwest Alabama. The Council spans from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the pine forests of Clarke County. The Council maintains and operates the Maubila Scout Reservation (Camp Maubila) in Clarke County. The Council Service Center is located in Mobile, Alabama with helpful professional and support staff. A National Scout Shop can be found in the Service Center building.
