Description
5th Generation Cane Corso/Catahoula Leopard Dog Pups available. What does that mean? It means this was an intentional pairing to produce excellent working dogs with a known family history. I have met and have pictures back to great grand parents on mothers side. Grand Sire of these pups hunted hogs and worked cattle (see pictures.) Grand Dam works catching foul for us (also pictured.) Mother has phenomenal herding instincts and is an amazing guard dog. She will hold bay and has a nose second to none. We are currently trying her to be a gluten sniffing service dog. She has intelligence and intuition which makes her a joy to be around. She is gritty and unafraid of anything she comes up against, no matter how much bigger it is than her, which is a desired catahoula trait. Sire is highly intelligent, tenacious, has a high prey drive, and is unafraid to tackle his target. He has a well muscled and athletic physique, is easily trained and eager to please. He is a real tribute to his breed. These puppies should be at least 100lbs when grown. Dam is currently 90lbs. Sire is easily 150 of pure muscle and bone. I have attached pictures of the previous litter to show what your puppy may look like as it gets older. All previous puppies matured around 100lbs, but were still sleek and agile like a catahoula. I'm not in a hurry to sell these puppies and we will be screening buyers to find suitable homes for them because that is our top priority. They will be ready for their new homes once they turn 10 weeks. Puppies will be microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated. They will also come with health records, puppy food, leash, harness, collar and a lifetime take back guarantee, meaning, if at any time over the life of your dog, you are no longer wanting it or cannot take care of it for whatever reason, we will happily take back the dog, for a partial refund of the original re-homing fee. We love our puppies and only want the best for them. Their ears, tails, and dewclaws have NOT been cut or cropped because I do not agree with the practice, since I previously worked in the vet industry. We still get updates on our previous litters so we know our puppies are thriving in their new homes. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures. Please be aware of typical pricing for these two breeds respectively. I'm not asking nearly as much for a rehoming fee since they aren't pure bred, but at least that way you won't be shocked. A registered Catahoula starts at around six hundred and fifty dollars and a registered Cane Corso starts at about fifteen hundred, in case you didn't want to look it up. Thank you for your time and we look forward to matching you with your next 4 legged friend!
