Description

The Public Housing Coordinator is a responsible position that oversees 322 units of State elderly/disabled and Family housing programs. The PH Coordinator works with the Executive Director, and Director of Maintenance on all vacancy related matters to ensure that all units are turned over and ready for occupancy. The PH Coordinator is responsible for all annual and interim recertifications. This individual also is responsible to address tenancy related issues that may be met through the provision of services, identifies needs of elderly/disabled residents and links residents to the community resources that allow them to live independently. Applicant should have excellent communication and critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. Experience with PHA web software, Excel and Windows Office programs preferred. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred with at least 2 years working experience with low-income or assisted housing programs and elderly/disabled population. Or 3-5 years of experience with occupancy management for public or assisted housing programs.
