Here are the top 3 stories in Buffalo today: Buffalo residents rallied on Friday to protest the city's mask and vaccine mandates. The protestors, many of whom were children, gathered at the Erie County Rath Office Building before marching through Niagara Square to Buffalo City Hall. The protest was one of several coordinated demonstrations across the state on Feb. 11. (Buffalo News)A 17-year-old male is in custody following a stabbing that happened outside of McKinley High School earlier this week. Witnesses say a 14-year-old student was stabbed by the suspect multiple times during a fight on Wednesday afternoon. A security guard at the school was shot in the leg during the same incident. (13WHAM-TV)The Buffalo Teachers Federation (BTF) is calling for an investigation into the school safety of several Buffalo Public Schools campuses. BTF says multiple dangerous incidents, including several threats toward teachers, have happened at schools across the district since last October. The district has not yet released a statement in response.
