BELMONT, CA — Belmont city officials announced Thursday that several offices will be closed for the holidays. From Dec. 25 through Jan. 1, the following offices will be closed: City ClerkCity ManagerCommunity DevelopmentFinance (including business licenses)Human ResourcesInformation TechnologyPermit Center (including building inspections)Recreation AdministrationPublic Works AdministrationAll of the above will reopen on Jan. 2, 2020. In addition to the city closures, the Belmont Senior and Community Center and Belmont Community Learning Center (child care) will also be closed during this period, officials said. "Police and Fire emergency services will be fully operational," according to the city. "For emergencies, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency Police matters, please call (650) 595-7400.Emergency Contact Information for other city departments is available through the Police Dispatch unit at (650) 595-7400."
