HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A man faces DWI charges after he crashed his car into a bridge on East Avenue, according to Hackettstown police. Timothy Mikesh, 43, of Morris County's Washington Township, is awaiting a court appearance to also answer charges of careless driving and for having an open container, said Sgt. Darren Tynan, a spokesperson for the Hackettstown Police Department. Mikesh lost control of his car on Feb. 2 at about 8 p.m. hitting the bridge, Tynan wrote in a news release on Tuesday. The bridge on East Avenue was not damaged and there was no impact to traffic from the incident, Tynan wrote to Patch in an email statement. Questions or comments about this story? Have a news tip?
