BELMONT, CA —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes. Where the nominee lives: Belmont Where the person who nominated the hero lives: Belmont Name of the nominee: Robyn Peters Name of the person who nominated the hero: Nanette Boerner Is the nominee considered an "essential worker"?: No What does the nominee do for work?: She is a photographer. Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?: Robin is not working with the schools to capture important moments like graduation and end of year milestones. She turned to sewing and distributing masks to first responders for free, all over our local area; Such amazing grace. What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?: Robin is kind and selfless and has been a wonderful resource in the community.
