U.S. Marshals' Task Force Arrest Bucks County Man

BRISTOL, PA — Members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force arrested a fugitive in Bristol Township on Friday morning. Around 7 a.m., U.S. Marshals closed in on a home in the 3500 block of Dixon Avenue of Bristol, where they had followed fugitive Tyreek Moore, 36. He had allegedly gone there to visit a woman. Moore was wanted for two Bucks County Sherriff's warrants, one for illegal possession of a firearm, and one for a Bucks County probation violation with the underlying charge of aggravated assault. "After disabling his GPS monitoring December 2021, Moore became a fugitive and the case was delegated to the Marshals Service shortly after," the U.S. Marshals Service said in a statement. Taskforce investigators from Philadelphia made their presence known at the home. After a brief negotiation, Moore was apprehended without incident. He was then transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. "The Bucks County Sherriff's office appreciates and values the partnership we have with the United States Marshals Service," Bucks County Sheriff Fred Harran said in the statement. "Today is an example of what cooperation between a County and federal agency can do. Being able to track down and taking into custody without incident a dangerous criminal helps maintain the safety of our community through the spirit of cooperation between agencies".
