GILROY, CA — Gilroy residents can receive a free tree through the city's partnership with Our City Forest (OCF). A free yard or park strip tree is available to residents who submit a tree stewardship application. A staff member will come inspect the space, obtain a permit and plant the tree. Anyone who lives in the dark grey areas are eligible to receive a free tree: Those who live outside the area but are still interested in receiving a free tree can email [email protected].
