Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today: The Human Services Campus, just south of downtown Phoenix, launched a new storage program that helps people experiencing homelessness keep their belongings safe. Beneficiaries receive a clean garbage can with zip ties to keep personal items secure. Human Services Campus created a storage area where people can keep their bins while attending appointments without worrying about losing or carrying belongings everywhere. (The Arizona Republic)Aspen University, a Phoenix nursing school, has stopped new admissions amid an ongoing investigation into allegations against the school. The extent of the school's violations have not been disclosed for confidentiality reasons, but they are reportedly severe enough to close the program entirely. The state nursing board raised concerns about the rate of Aspen's students passing the NCLEX, a required exam to graduate.
