RIVERHEAD, NY — A Shirley man was charged with thefts that took place at the Riverhead Home Depot and Lowe's stores last month, police said. According to Riverhead Town Police, Salvatore Paulette, 32, was charged with three counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony. The first charge was related to incident that took place on January 18 at Home Depot, located on Old Country Road, police said. Paulette was also charged with the other two fourth-degree grand larceny charges in relation to incidents that took place on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18 at the Lowe's store on Old Country Road, police said. Paulette was already in custody at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility on prior charges that occurred in the Suffolk County Police jurisdiction, police said. Paulette was processed and held for arraignment at Riverhead Justice Court, police said.
