Artists, where do you get your music?

Hi: I am a musician and almost all of my tracks are instrumentals and many would be perfect as background music. I was wondering where artists get music to accompany their projects. If they obtain it free or if they pay and if they pay, who do they contact. I don't believe in making music for money but I'm not against selling if someone wants to buy, but for me just having it listened to and appreciated by someone other than myself would be enough. Anyway, I'm SashaBooBoo and I have a channel on youtube, Soundcloud, ReverbNation. If you want free music, ambient, electronic, with or without a beat, western genre's or tones only, let me know.
