This is a part-time to full-time position. Hours can vary week to week depending on demand. Located in Long Beach, training takes place outdoors or at client's home. Professional Dog Trainer Certification completion CCPDT or equivalent Prior hands-on experience working with / handling dogs Experience handling dogs safely and maintaining dogs below emotional threshold Experience with reactivity, anxiety and impulse control LIMA capable (Least intrusive minimally aversive) Knowledge of canine behavior and force-free dog training methods Knowledge of behavioral learning theory Ability to teach assistants and clients with respect, honesty and mindfulness Positions available and job descriptions: Please email your resume and please do not contact our main number or emails for customer service or admissions departments with inquiries.
