Hi, There I am looking to re home my african grey. There Is a rehoming fee. She is 12 yrs old. I purchased her from a private owner. Her name is mama. She does talk some. Makes lots of different noises. She whistles and she can whistle a song she learned from a previous owner. She does need some training she can be floor aggressive when she is nervous, she will chew some but if told no mama she will stop so if she is out of the cage you will need to keep an eye on her. She does like to climb up and down the steps and will wonder off into the bathroom or bed room. We do have dogs she will chase them if they get close to her. We don't give her small toy balls because she will lay on them like they are eggs and when we remove them she seems to get depressed, so I do not know if she has ever had babies or not. She does seem to favor men more than women, it's not an issue for a women to handle her but when my husband is around she wants his attention alot. I have had her for about 9 months and I started a job and I am not home a lot and my husband does feed her clean her cage but he has no interest in letting her out of the cage to play or keep up with her since he is not a bird person so she is in the cage most of the time when I am working. I do have a cage and perch for her but those are sold separately. I am asking $1200 for her or $1500 for her and her cage. Since she has been in the cage so much she has pretty much chewed up most of the toys she had. If interested please respond to this ad. I am looking for a good home for her so please do not respond if you are not that person. May go down just a little on the price but not much for the right person. Will send pics if requested.
