Bass Player Seeking Rock Band

I am a bass player looking to join a rock band. I prefer mostly covers at this point, but am open to some originals. I know a fair number of songs and can learn almost anything. I am not super into country, though a couple more rocking country songs here and there are OK. Interesting takes on pop could be fun. But, mainly I am interested in rock, hard rock and even metal. I am reliable and a good teammate. I have a job, gear, transportation - In my early forties and have my life together. Able to play out about twice a month, and rehearse most weeks. But, also OK just coming out and playing some tunes with some folks and seeing where it goes. Ultimately, I would like to be playing out again in a gigging band, but meeting musicians and playing is part of the fun. Thanks!
