Starter/Marshal Position: Come join our golf team with the best job ever! Beautiful outdoor setting, friendly people, great perks! Starters and Marshals are responsible for the orderly and timely movement of tee times. Control pace of play and ensure the golf course polices and dress code are followed. Most importantly, provide members and guests of members first class service. Starter: - Interact with golfers in a friendly and helpful manner. - Responsible for informing golfers of course conditions and pin locations. - Keep tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner. - Communicate with Golf Shop in keeping an accurate, up to date tee sheet. - Tracks players and speed of play. - Communicate with Marshals on the course any potential pace of play problems. - Any additional tasks assigned by Head Golf Pro or Golf Shop. - Assist members and their guests with any requests. Marshal: - Responsible for maintaining reasonable pace of play on the golf course. - Communicate with Golf Shop and Starter about any pace of play problems. - Communicate with Golf Shop in keeping accurate pace of play on the golf course. - Monitor course cleanliness - Assist Outside staff as needed. - Remain open and positive in communication with members and their guests. - Always maintain a clean and neat appearance while on duty and adhere to the dress code. - Any additional tasks assigned by Head Golf Pro or Golf Shop. Job Requirements: - Able to work 3-5 shifts per week. - General knowledge of Golf Course operations. - Must be available for weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings. - Ability to lift over 25 lbs. - Excellent customer service. - Must have access to email to receive schedules and any updates or announcements. - Seasonal work only.
