Apartment Maintenance Technician - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus! We are looking for several Maintenance Technicians to help maintain the community. Monarch has been actively involved in Multifamily Housing investment since 1992. Unlike many of our peers we are not a real estate investment trust but privately owned by people who actually care. We currently own and manage over 68,000 apartments in 21 states, making us the 9th largest multifamily owner in the country. In addition, Monarch operates a nationally franchised hotel and a ski and snowboard resort. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Completes work orders assigned • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications • Preventative maintenance as assigned • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • 1+ years' maintenance related experience • Dry walling including painting and carpentry • Basic knowledge of plumbing • Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures Benefits for full time employees: - Competitive pay based on skill set and experience - Bonus structure - Tool reimbursement program - Paid Time Off - Holiday Paid Time Off - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance - Life and Disability Insurance - Housing Discounts A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
