Hello, Had a number of leads with seemingly cool people but nothing materialized. Having learned from those 5-10 experiences emailing/calling etc I'm ready to start looking again. I'll try to be more specific. About me: First-rate, experienced player, high quality vintage gear, appropriate stage presence and appearance, Have time to rehearse, have transportation, realistic attitude, mid 30s. There are a number of things I'm interested in. Here's what a few of them could be in desired order: -Would love to reform my old band. Stoner / Doom with melodic vocals, OR join/start another band like that (Sleep, Elder, Windhand, UFOmammut, Naxatras, 1000mods) -Prog rock covers or originals (e.g. yes, rush, ELP, Captain Beyond, Mahavishnu, willing to do modern aesthetics too ) -classic rock cover band that does "good" classic rock (Hendrix, Zeppelin, Allmans, Doors, Grand Funk, Guess Who, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Cream, etc. not interested in a lot of 80s music) -Original modern rock band with classic rock influences (look up Shotgun Sawyer, Radio Moscow, Yin Yin) -Punk, post-punk as long as it's creative and the musicians are good (i.e. Parquet Courts, Rollins Band, NOT Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc) -Indie rock original band w/ classic influences (Tame Impala, Temples, etc) Shoot me a reply and let's chat.
