Job description Facilities Supervisor Description Secure Parking USA is looking for a mechanically inclined facilities supervisor to over see the maintenance and start up of all Secure Parking sites in the downtown Raleigh Area. Secure Parking USA is an International parking solutions company who continues to expand its presence across the USA. Secure Parking provides full-service Parking Solution services at locations including surface lots and garages in Downtown Urban Centers, Event Venues, Airports and Hospitality sectors by combining cutting edge technologies and a unique sales & marketing approach. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Function – Assist in the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of a large parking portfolio in downtown Raleigh. Main job functions include: • Responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of all sites. • Assist with management duties for cleaning staff as assigned • Assist in inventory control and upkeep of all grounds equipment and supplies. • Responsible for set up and install of signage for new sites. • Assist with any emergency maintenance at garage (ON CALL) • Trouble shoot and diagnosis parking equipment issues. • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Operations Manager. • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Operations Manager • Light landscaping (lawn mowing, weed whacking, tree timing, spraying for weeds, etc.) • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc. • Substitute for any position, if necessary. • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and lots, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the sites. • Complete other duties as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Candidates must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple projects. Nice To Have: Basic Tool Set/Power tools. All other tools and equipment will be provided. Education/Experience • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. License Requirement • Required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Vehicle • Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from job site(s). Physical Demands : These physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Hours: Part time (20-30hrs/week). On call Friday-Sun Pay: $15.00-$20.00/hr
