Punk Band Forming – Looking for Singer

Hello! We are forming a band of sorts and it’s kind of sounding pretty garage punky. Maybe a little art rock thrown in the mix too. We are looking for someone who wants to sing. LGBTQ+, POC, womxn to the front but we are interested in anyone now. Here is what we are looking for: Please: -Do not show up late. It’s a team effort and everyone’s time is valuable. No one is more special than the other. -Have employment. The first thing that leads to folks flaking out is worrying about cash flow which is totally understandable. Then again, if you are stressing about that, you probably don’t need to join a band immediately. Priorities folks. -Be a responsible adult. Have your drinks and your drugs but just be smart. Don’t make bad decisions as much as possible. -Be vaccinated. Not sure why this is such a huge deal breaker in Berks Co. We plan lots of shows in the area and plan on playing in Philly, NYC, DC, Baltimore. You need proof of vax and booster in order to play those shows so please don’t hold us back because you think you know more than top scientists in the country. Everyone is just trying to stay healthy and keep others healthy. We have a practice space. It’s in Reading – not out in like Boyertown or something way out. We practice once per week. Please work on stuff on your own time and then bring things to work out at practice. Not interested in someone who needs a lot of handholding but also everyone is open to working things out together. I think the key difference there is please be confident in yourself. Please, don’t waste our time with entitled ideals and expectations about “making it.” This is a band of passionate beginners and we are all ascending together. Age range is from early 20s to mid / late 30s. All original music, no covers. Should be fun for whomever wants to check this out. Thanks!
