Survey Party Chief Responsibilities: • Must have knowledge of professional surveying practices and procedures; state and federal laws affecting land surveying and boundaries • Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography, utility as-built and construction stakeout • Assisting survey technicians with production mapping products computations Survey Party Chief Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of working experience • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with clean record • Must have current first aid certification • Ability to operate Robotic Total Stations and GPS, static, RTK AND RTN collection protocols • Familiarity with Trimble/Spectra Precision and Topcon Robotics, Trimble/Spectra Ranger Data Collectors • Familiarity with Survey Pro software is a plus • Sufficient knowledge to handle survey related tasks in the field • Experienced in reading and understanding survey maps and plans • Experienced in recovery of boundary evidence in the field • Ability to collect as-built and topographic data • Ability to review and understand construction drawings, calculation and perform construction layout • Must be able to travel out of town for up to a week at a time • Excellent communications skills • Certified Survey Technician, level II or III (CST) is a plus • Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) is a plus About Us: Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc. is one of the Northwest’s premier consulting firms.
