Description
Responsibilities for Server
greet customers and seat them in the order in which they arrive
familiarize customers with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
take customer orders and relay them accurately to relevant team members
serve food and beverages
clear, properly clean and set tables between uses
collect payment from customers in a timely manner
assist in training new employees as required
anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate and enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications for Restaurant Server
excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
good attitude toward teamwork
strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative
confident, outgoing demeanor
flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and life a moderate weight
be of legal age to serve alcohol
food service certificate
