The Punch-Out Technician is responsible for efficiently handling “punch out” activities for New Construction Homes & Multi Family Properties in a professional manner. The technician will be expected to perform light construction activities to prepare homes & units for delivery to new buyers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and performs duties necessary for the completion of quality new construction home repairs within standards set by company and industry specifications Completes “punch out” activities for new construction homes to include minor painting, drywall repair, light carpentry, basic labor, etc. Assists Constructuion Manager in monitoring subcontractor’s performance Participates in site and individual home & unit inspections Assists with completion of warranty requests Assists in maintaining company standards & quality Maintains professional communication with all staff Maintains cleanliness of job site and individual units Promotes overall job safety Inspect/Validate workmanship and product quality to conform to company standards Other duties as assigned Essential Skills Needed: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Excellent communication skills both oral and written Ability to interact with buyers and stakeholders in a professional manner Construction and maintenance knowledge a plus, however, will train the right candidate Ability to operate hand and power tools Ability to complete hands-on work/labor
