Here at Peak View Solar we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team of solar installers. Our awesome team will train you to assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in compliance with site assessment and schematics. We are looking for all experience levels with this position. Job Responsibilities Conduct physical installs on rooftops using a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to; measuring devices, hand tools, power tools (impact, drill, rotary hammer, etc.) various ladder types and sizes Layout and perform the structural mounting of racking and modules Support the Crew Lead and Electrician to assure the successful completion of the solar system Perform other job duties as assigned We dispatch from our Colorado Springs office. Local residents only. No relocation offered. Position is hourly and on an as needed basis (inclement weather can be an issue) Availability Monday - Friday. Qualifications: Experience with solar/construction projects preferred but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions/confined spaces Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity and depth. Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record with the ability to meet insurability requirements for the company’s automobile insurance policy.
