Hi everyone! I’m rehoming my 2 year old chameleon Kanja! I would prefer to rehome him to someone who has done research/has had chameleons before. CHAMELEONS ARE NOT EASY PETS and I can’t stress this enough!!!
Kanja is 2 years old, and I’ve had him for about a year, and he’s awesome! He’s feeding on mainly dubias right now, just because I hate crickets but he eats just about everything you can offer to him, crickets, dubias, meal worms, super worms, horn worms, you name it! He currently drinks out of a water cup, it’s not super popular in chameleon trade, but if you’re sure to clean the glass every other day, and change out the water daily, its really not a problem. I’ve also seen him (once) drink out of the water glass, and I have been monitoring droppings so I know he’s getting what he needs.
I’m rehoming him because I honestly have a lot going on right now. I’m trying to graduate, I work full time, and have three other pets under my belt.
I’m going to be charging a fee for his full set up, lighting, pressure sprayer, calcium, and dubias, its going to be $150. I’ve included some pictures of him, he looks a little light right now just because he’s about to shed.
Let me know if you have any questions!!
