Our company has 6 certified arborists, of which one is a master arborist. All of our team are knowledgeable and eager to pass on their knowledge. As a ground person, you will learn the details of tree care and can eventually reach new heights and become a climber! We are looking for experienced climbers, as well. If you have climbing experience and are looking for a change, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities as a ground person: - Hauling brush to the chipper - Splitting logs - Learning to prune trees - Cutting up logs with a chainsaw Requirements: - Valid Texas Driver's license & transport - A good attitude & teachability! - Your English must be understandable (debe hablar buen inglés) Preferences: - Someone who has a love for working outdoors or the desire to learn about the horticulture or arboriculture fields. This is a physically demanding job, all serious applicants must enjoy physical work; this includes working in high and low temperatures. How often: This is a full-time position.
