Job description High volume wholesale bakery is seeking a night time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic *** For training period of minimum ONE MONTH shift will be 9:00AM-6:30PM Monday-Friday. The regular shift once training is complete will be 3PM-11PM. Responsibilities and Duties Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. * Perform daily preventative maintenance -inspect all industrial baking equipment (Ovens, Conveyors, etc.) and make any mechanical adjustments needed. * Disassemble and clean equipment properly to ensure operation of mechanical equipment. * Maintain preventative maintenance supplies (oil, grease etc.) by checking stock. * Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical equipment in operation; listening for problems. * Remove defective parts by dismantling and replace using hand tools and power tools. * Follow daily logs on preventative maintenance. * Read and understand equipment manuals. * Complies with FDA, OSHA, SQF and food safety rules. *Perform other duties as assigned or needed. * Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Qualifications and Skills * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - bilingual a plus. * Mechanical skills acquired through either past experience or technical trade school. * Must be able to work overtime when needed, and to be available for after hour emergencies. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
