Positive Energy NY, LLC is seeking Experienced Project Superintendents to run all on site aspects of mechanical and electrical construction on large scale commercial ground mount solar projects. 1mW-40mW's. This is a traveling position. Only those willing to travel for work should apply. There are additional benefits that will be discussed with applicants that have the solar experience we require. JOB FUNCTION DETAILS: - Manage various size crews. Average range of 18-25 persons - Assign job tasks and ensure productivity - Track project hours, comp codes, and submit weekly hours in a timely manner - Work with project manager to order and receive materials - Ensure Safe work practices are followed. Conduct daily safety briefings - Consistently communicate with entire team - Ongoing updates to Project Manager of work progress and any issues - Upload pictures of progress on a regular basis EXPERTISE REQUIRED: - Knowledge of ground mount solar racking systems and installation practices, as well as flat roof systems preferred BUT not required - Ability to read and follow blueprints and specification documents - Electrical installation knowledge to work with our electrical crew to ensure the work is performed correctly preferred BUT not required We are a long established commercial solar building contractor.
