We are seeking a high-energy person to be our Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for not only the work the employee performs, but also the work performed by their subordinates on the warehouse team. Daily duties include: -Clean and maintain a neat and organized warehouse -Pick and prep orders for customer pick-up -Load active orders for customers receiving product -Loading and unloading of freight and parcel carriers -Use scanners to process sales orders and purchase orders -Sort items properly into respective boxes and pallets along with putting items back in a neat and orderly fashion The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: -Ability to manage time effectively -Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel -Ability to improvise, adapt and use logical problem solving skills -Must have forklift experience -Ability to retain info after training and teach those skills in an effective manner -Must be able to work under pressure -Possess good communication skills and work well with sales staff This position sets the tone for the entire warehouse staff. The pace is high. Work ethic must be superior. Attitude needs to remain friendly. Goals must be set and achieved daily. We are not your typical company and this is not your typical warehouse. Folks who cannot multi-task, think of others when working, and communicate effectively will not be able to succeed in the position.
