Qualifications - Driver must hold a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL Class B or equivalent) and medical card - Must have a minimum of three years heavy equipment experience. - Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening: as a safety-sensitive employee subject to random substance abuse screening under the Department of Transportation and Company Policy - Driver will also be subject to a pre-employment background check as well as ongoing background checks during the time of employment - Ability to get in and out of truck cab unassisted - Ability to move 75 pounds Description - The driver will operate heavy equipment in accordance with the Department of Transportation regulations and company policy - Performs all work adhering to OSHA and A and M Curran Safety policies - The driver will service all customers in a timely fashion while using the proper routes and municipal territories - Operates the heavy equipment according to local, state, and federal Department of Transportation observing all traffic laws and safety regulations - Transports and dump trash at the regulated transfer station or landfill requested by A and M Curran - Communication skills to report and coordinate with management for all drop-offs, pick-ups, vehicle malfunctions, and conditions, etc. - Ability to utilize company dispatching software on their personal mobile device - Meet customers for all drop-offs, must represent the company in a professional manner, collect signatures on delivery agreements, complete condition reports, and daily vehicle inspections. - At the end of every day, the vehicle must be safely and securely parked and stored in the designated spot desired by A and M Curran - Must abide by Company policy and attendance requirements set forth upon hire - Must notify the Company immediately of any accidents, traffic violations, or license suspensions - Daily checks to ensure the truck is in proper operating condition, notifies Company of any requirements for maintenance or repairs - Must keep vehicle cab clean and organized, maintain the truck by greasing properly, and check fluids daily (oils, coolant, fuel level). - Performs other duties as assigned We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
