*Please make sure you read all information provided here and review the photos before contacting me* I am remodeling my home located in Irvine and looking for a VERY EXPERIENCED Tile Setter. This is a single story house on a concrete slab. Following is the project information: 1) To install large format porcelain tile on the floor and 3 walls (floor to ceiling - same tile) of the master bathroom. 2) Total wall size of about 195 sqft & total floor size of about 90 sqft (see attached photos A, B, & C) 3) Tile size is 15''x30'' for the walls and the floor and honey coin for the shower pan (see attached photos E & F) 4) Installing curbless shower with the size of 3'x4' (see attached photos G & H) - the concrete is already slopped and linear drain already installed (see attached photo D) 5) No tile pattern, or shower niche needed What is required: - I am looking to work with a professional individual and not a contractor/general contractor. You can bring a helper to assist, but my expectation is that you will be doing the tile installation. The idea of placing this ad is to remove the middleman - To have professional grade tools (e.g. wet tile cutter, laser, concrete grinder, and so on) - Prep, Prep, Prep - the walls and floor needs to be flat & plumb before the we begin the tile installation. So, you need to have extensive experience doing prep work; including to flat & plumb walls, installing tile backer boards, shaving high spots of the concrete floor, installing moisture barrier, liquid waterproofing and so on - We are installing tile backer boards (DensShield - ) with liquid waterproofing (e.g. RedGard) - this job is *not* for those that want to floating the wall and/or apply hot mop - Be able to follow proper tile installation guidelines. - To be reliable and having good communication skills as well as being able to speak English - Prefer if you are driving from Orange County area - Prefer those with experience of installing tiles in curbless showers (see attached photos G & H) - Should have references I will supply all materials.
