Description
The Clinical and Experimental Drug Addiction Research (CEDAR) Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is conducting a research study on premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in female adults 18-35 years old. This is a paid research study and participants will be compensated up to $330-$525. All information you provide is confidential.
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
1. Female 18-35 years old
2. a non-smoker
3. do not use illicit substances
4. experience PMS or PMDD
If you are eligible and agree to participate you will:
1. Undergo an in-person screening interview at UIC to determine further eligibility
2. Complete daily surveys at home for 2-3 months
3. Conduct at home urine testing
4. Provide saliva and blood samples during 8 in-person visits at UIC
5. Complete a 4-hour individual task session in-person at UIC
