Our Sumner location has an immediate, full-time opening for a Manufacturing Team Member position. Within this role, you will: Work with Production Scheduler and other millwork/jamb component prep employees to ensure all millwork and jamb components are correctly pulled, prepped and staged for next day's production.. Resize/cut jambs to proper size as per work order and sizing chart. Correctly hand all jambs and stage them in the designated manufacturing area. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR... Manufacturing Team Members are responsible for pulling and prepping all millwork and jamb components for the next day's production of prehung doors. Utilize the jamb sizing/machining chart to ensure all jambs are cut, prepped, and machined properly based on information provided on the work order. CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Our Ideal candidate comes with the following skills: One or more years of door shop or construction experience One or more years of experience with pneumatic or other various power tools High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Strong analytical, reasoning and math skills Able to lift between 50-75 lbs., and stand, twist, and reach for the entire shift Knowledge of door components and assembling techniques (preferred, not required) If you don't come with all of the qualifications, we still encourage you to apply because we are willing to train the right person! COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Multiple raises available in first year.
