Hydropeptide Assistant Warehouse Supervisor WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Maintain an open line of communication with employees. • Openly communicate all labor situations in the warehouse to the Warehouse Manager. • Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment, order parts, and materials. • Support and maintain phases of warehouse inventory including storage, staging, labeling, and shipping details. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and other metrics. • Maintain inventory levels through receiving freight, labeling stock, storing inventory via Forklift or pallet truck, and digitally receiving inventory. • Cooperate with the Warehouse Manager/General Manager to minimize costs whenever possible. • Maintain and utilize safety practices by correcting unsafe acts, inspections, and warehouse safety programs. • Interpret and administer company policies and procedures. • Supervise the proper handling of products and supplies in the warehouse with respect to inventories and shipments. • Assist with the preparation of budgets and costs for warehouse operations. • Ensure employees maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner. • May perform other duties as assigned by the COO/Warehouse Manager. • Ensure employees follow Hydropeptide LLC established policies and procedures for this job as described in the training manual and orientation program. • Notify Warehouse Manager/General Manager immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered. • Identify, orchestrate, and oversee product production, coding, and kitting projects. • Proactively think beyond the explicit assignment to ask second-order questions and identify additional analytic needs. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Knowledge: • Should have overall knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment. Previous experience in a supervisory capacity would be beneficial. • Ability to operate inventory and forecasting software as well as Microsoft office suite. • Have a working knowledge of Continuous Improvement and/or Lean manufacturing principles. • Forklift Operator certification. Training for certification will be provided if necessary. • Understands and utilizes the principles of management by walking around. • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required. • Working understanding of Warehouse Management System. • Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities. • Strong motivational, effectual team building, and decision-making skills. • Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises. • Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted. • Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
