Father of 2 needs a mechanic

Hello I just bought a Chevy 95 S10 and it ran good the first night I bought it. But now it has trouble starting up. If I pump it full of gas over and over it'll start. But from the moment I drove it home it smelled of gas. Idk if it's the air filter or manifold or timing it what it is. But if anyone is on the Westside of Indy and knows about cars and has a couple minutes. My family and I would appreciate it very much
