MICHIGAN — A congressman in Michigan said he has tested positive for the coronavirus. U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, announced Wednesday on Twitter that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. "Earlier today, I was expected to appear with the Vice President. While taking part in offsite testing protocols, I took a rapid test that came back positive for COVID-19," Huizenga said in a tweet. On Saturday, President Donald Trump also will be visiting Huizenga's district, appearing in Muskegon to speak in support of law enforcement. Huizenga is the first congressman from Michigan to test positive for the coronavirus, although about 21 congressman have tested positive for the virus, according to Dave Boucher of The Detroit Free Press.
