Description
The team at The New York Academy of Medicine is conducting a study on how changes to the environment in different neighborhoods (e.g., safer intersections, more benches) affect physical activity. As part of the study, we plan to conduct focus groups with New Yorkers living in different neighborhoods. We will ask them about how comfortable they are walking around their neighborhood and what factors make them more or less likely to be physically active.
We are currently screening residents to conduct a focus group. If you are interested in participating, please follow the link to our 5-minute screening survey:.
The focus groups will be 90-minutes in length, and some will be conducted in person and some remotely (on Zoom). Adults who participate in the focus group will receive a $50 gift card to show our appreciation for their time and input.
Please note recruitment for this focus group will end on Feb 18th, 2022 and the survey will be closed.
Thank you!
